On a recent family trip to London, our Director Jonny was thrilled to spot 4 different Excelsior products out in the field!! Snapping photos of them became far more interesting than boring old photos of Big Ben and Buckingham Palace
First up was a street in Holborn full of our lovely RW0002 400 Litre Grit Bins. Ordinarily used for holding Grit obviously, these bins actually had a different use as the local council were using them for residents to put their waste into.
Up next, after an Uber trip on the Thames, we spotted a lovely yellow RB0227 200 Litre truck with handle. We’re used to selling these into warehouses for transporting goods or waste around a shopfloor but this one was being used for storing life vests for the Thames Rib Experience.
The following day, whilst doing the Race Across the World London Experience (highly recommended btw!!) we came across 2 rather sad looking blue RB0412 455 Litre trucks out the back of the Royal Courts of Justice. Disgusting way to look after such a lovely product!!
The kids were finding the product photography incredibly tiresome by this point but there was still time to snap a yellow RW0102 2 step in use by a UPS driver near Oxford Street.
We make around 150,000 products a year, most of which disappear never to be seen again so it’s always good to see them being used out in the field!
