After well over half a century in business, at Excelsior we think it’s fair to say we know a thing or two about delivering quality to our customers. We do this in a number of different ways, from the streamlined efficiency in our manufacturing processes to the inherent strengths and capabilities of our materials. And of course, a positive, it never hurts to have a positive, outgoing attitude amongst our staff!
Quick Turnarounds With Our Roto-Moulding Process
There are a number of reasons we prefer to use our rotomoulding process for plastic manufacturing, but chiefly amongst them is the speed and ease with which we’re able to complete customer orders. With roto moulding, we can design a product, tool it and begin full-scale production all within a matter of months, so that we can minimise the amount of time you have to wait to get your products. In order to maintain this speedy turnaround, the quality and efficiency of our machinery is always a primary concern – so we make sure we keep on top of things in order to further cut down on waiting times.
When it comes to the products themselves, rotomoulding allows us to manufacture products in a single, seamless piece. That means there are no unnecessary cracks or joints, and there are no ‘stress points’ – in other words, any weak sections that might be vulnerable to breaking. Other manufacturing processes like injection moulding can’t guarantee the absence of these stress points; one of the many reasons we favour rotomoulding here at Excelsior.
The Materials We Use
The raw materials that we use are carefully chosen; we use high and low-density polyethylene to create our clients’ plastic products. There are a number of reasons for this. We’ve gone into exhaustive detail in a previous blog, but to sum up just a few of the key points, polyethylene is:
- Highly durable
- Resistant to corrosion
- Hygienic (makes a poor home for germs and bacteria)
…all of which makes it useful for a vast range of applications, both outdoor and indoor, for clients in hundreds of different industries.
Our Transparency and Customer Service
As our customers, you are our foremost priority, so we work closely with you throughout the manufacture of your product. We’ll lay out our plans and processes in comprehensive detail with you during our initial meetings, and make sure that we’re open to questions both during and afterwards. Before we reach the manufacturing stage, we’ll use Computer Aided Design to generate a detailed image of your product, so that you can be 100% sure you’re getting nothing less than exactly what you want.
We also routinely make ourselves available to you so that you can arrange to inspect our premises and machinery, as well as meeting the staff that will make your plastic project happen. It’s all part of our wholehearted dedication to outstanding customer service.
You can find numerous tangible examples of this outstanding quality in our case studies, from clients in a diverse array of industries. Or, if you’re already all set to get your plastic project off the ground, you can call our sales team on 0161 765 2010 – we’re here to help.
